Tower Beyond the Trees

This photo was taken in 2009 on a quick one day trip to Paris, France.

I decided to hope over there while going to London for school. I have to say, Paris was nothing like I had imagined.

It wasn’t the city of love and lights like I thought it would be. It’s just like any other city with monuments. However, as an American, I felt very unwelcome and decided not to leave the tourist group because of the already threatening manner some of the immigrants there were giving us.

Paris is a beautiful place for photos but I would not want to go back there without a group of people again.

Hope you enjoy the photo!

Moulin De Paris

I loved all the small tea shops that I visited in England and Paris when I went to school in London for a few weeks. I never thought that I would find such a nice tea shop in the States.

My best friend, Sasha, introduced me to “Moulin De Paris.” “Moulin De Paris” is located in Pasadena, MD.

“Moulin De Paris” offers a warm atmosphere for that afternoon lunch, business meeting, or the romantic dinner for two. I went for Afternoon tea.

When you sit down, you see a very cute spread and then are given a huge menu to pick which tea you would like to start with.

I chose the Chocolate Strawberry flavored tea. It was amazing!

After to drink your tea, the bring out an amazing spread of soup, salad, and a three tear tray of awesomeness.

Happy Saint Valentine’s Day!

Hi Everyone!

The above photo was taken in PARIS, France! It’s one of my favorite photos that I took on my school trip which now feels very long ago. I was happy to find out that this photo was published in the College of Notre Dame of Maryland’s Damozel 2009! The Damozel, in case you don’t know, was a book comprised of photography and short stories! I actually published quite a few photos in that issue.

Today is the BIG Day! It’s the day that many people are going to propose to their significant other, go out on an expensive date, or be made aware that they do not have a significant other and the rest of their day is ruined!

Have NO Fear! Single Girl is Here! I’ve put a lot of thought into this article for all you Singles out there! Don’t let the day be ruined because everyone around you seems to be getting flowers, chocolates, and presents. You may not be aware of exactly how much people are ACTUALLY spending today!

Did you know that according to the Marketing Charts, on average, the price placed on LOVE – that is, the amount intended to be spent on Valentine’s Day – is $128!

By being Single, you just saved yourself over $100! Put that in your pipe and smoke it (As my Grandpa Used to ALWAYS Say!).

Valentine’s Day has become so commercialized that most people have totally forgotten the actual true meaning of the Day. Like, did you know that the true name of Valentine’s Day is actually Saint Valentine’s Day? It is a holiday, that we don’t get off (of course), that honors one or more early Christian martyrs named Valentinus. It was first established by Pope Gelasius I in 496 AD, and was later deleted from the General Roman Calendar of saints in 1969 by Pope Paul VI. Apparently, the Pope was not a fan!

Remember, Saint Valentine’s Day is not a day to feel sorry for yourself or to pull out your hair trying to find the right gift. Remember, this is a day to remember all the Valentinus who were slaughtered. The Valentine who was beaten with clubs, stoned, and then beheaded! That is why we celebrate this holiday! I mean, why else do you think this is the only holiday where we have a human heart as the logo?

Have a great day everyone!
