Empire State Building, New York

Hi,

I went to New York last year and was able to take some great photos. I went to see Alan Rickman’s artist talk at the BAM theatre which was a huge highlight of my life by the way!

I plan on visiting New York more in the future so I can take some more fantastic photos!

Have a great day!

Deathly Hallows Movie Poster

This is one of the first movie posters that I made for fun. I have gotten thousands of views on DeviantArt and thought I would share with you all!

I got my Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design in 2009 and what’s really sad is that I have had to opportunity to use it. I would love to find a Graphics job in New York and do what I love. I mean, I’m so blessed to have a job; however, I would love to do what my heart desires.

Hope you like it!

M&M’s World

Hi Everyone!

This is my favorite shot that I took in New York! I’ve been thinking a lot about New York lately and thought I’d post up this pic!

The M&M’s World located in New York City is a three-level glass box located in Times Square. It includes a 50-foot, two-story-high wall of chocolate that is made up of 72 continuous candy-filled tubes. M&M’s World is New York City’s largest candy store and offers merchandise such as themed clothing, dishware, watches, and piggy banks.

It was truly an awesome place!

Have a great day!

Death

This photo was taken last year in New York. I was taking photos of all the signs in Manhattan when I saw this message rolling along this one building. I waited until I was able to get the whole message in one shot.

As I looked around, I noticed no one else was really paying attention to the news. Everyone was so preoccupied with their own lives that it didn’t seem like a lot of people were interested. It was really sad.

Have a great day and don’t forget to support your troops no matter where you live!

This photo was taken in New York when I visited last year. New York has architecturally significant buildings in a wide range of styles spanning distinct historical and cultural periods.

New York has two main concentrations of high-rise buildings: Midtown Manhattan and Lower Manhattan, each with its own uniquely recognizable skyline. Midtown Manhattan, the largest central business district in the world, is home to such notable buildings as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, Citigroup Center and Rockefeller Center. Lower Manhattan comprises the third largest central business district in the United States (after Midtown and Chicago’s Loop). Lower Manhattan was characterized by the omnipresence of the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center from its completion in 1973 until its destruction in the September 11 attacks, 2001.

Taking Photos of Architecture is absolutely my favorite thing to do. It’s a great passion of mine and I hope to one day make a job out of it.

I’m a self taught digital photographer so I understand that I have so much to learn before I could possibly turn my hobby into a career. It’s just a lot of fun!

Hope you enjoy!

Umbrella

Hi,

I know…I know…it has been awhile since I have posted anything. I have been so busy with life that my Photography had to be put on the back-burner. I’m going through all my pics to find things that I really liked so I can share with you all. I’ll let you all know when I take some new pics. Hope that you like this one!

I took this in Manhattan, New York when I visited a few months back. I liked how the umbrella just seemed to pop out of the picture and thought I would give it a more 3D look by just popping out that piece of the photo.

Cheers!
