Maryland Renaissance Festival 2012

Hi Everyone!

I went to the Maryland Renaissance Festival with my sister and Parents this past weekend and was able to take a lot of photos. I will be going again on the 20th where I will be debuting a Renaissance dress that I got as a gift!

I am posting a few pics that I really love here and you can see more on my Facebook Photography Page:

The Calm Before the Storm

So, Intervention con was a lot of fun. I only did the Saturday because it was a little ways away from me and I have to work tomorrow.

On the way back from the con, the storm that was going on had stopped and you could see the bright clouds in the horizon. It was so calm for about 45 minutes before starting to pour again.

Thought you would all like this shot. Have a great day!

Intervention Con 2012

Hi Everyone!

I have decided that I will be checking out a Convention on Saturday called “Intervention.”

September 21-23 2012
Hilton Washington DC/Rockville
1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland 20852

From Friday 12pm to Sunday 4pm

I have never been to this con before and thought it would be fun to check it out. I’m friends with a lot of people who are running this con on Twitter and they have really been kind enough to even ask me to attend.

For those who don’t know, “Intervention” is an “internet convention” which is meant to Intervene and Inspire the whole family to embrace Technology, Digital Media, and the potential of the Internet in order to make a better world. Their community-centric event consists of 2 elements:

– Learning from the pros: They have 3 days of panels and workshops taught by people who are already using digital media to make something awesome.

– Having fun: Geeky performances, fan panels, gaming, dance parties, steampunk tea parties, concerts, networking, and Children’s Programming overseen by school teachers, NASA employees, and bloggers.

They are a new kind of fan convention that focuses on education and real life training. We believe that fandom is empowering and motivating.

It’s $25 at the door on Saturday so I have to see you there!!!

Moulin De Paris

I loved all the small tea shops that I visited in England and Paris when I went to school in London for a few weeks. I never thought that I would find such a nice tea shop in the States.

My best friend, Sasha, introduced me to “Moulin De Paris.” “Moulin De Paris” is located in Pasadena, MD.

“Moulin De Paris” offers a warm atmosphere for that afternoon lunch, business meeting, or the romantic dinner for two. I went for Afternoon tea.

When you sit down, you see a very cute spread and then are given a huge menu to pick which tea you would like to start with.

I chose the Chocolate Strawberry flavored tea. It was amazing!

After to drink your tea, the bring out an amazing spread of soup, salad, and a three tear tray of awesomeness.

The architecture of the building was very nice as well.

After such a lovely time with my friends we ordered some sweets and left!

I totally recommend going to check this place out. Wonderful staff, food, and atmosphere! Just great!

Have a great day!

Hi Everyone!

This is a quick photo that I took from my iPhone on the way home from a friend’s house. It was just really cool how the sun shone through just a sliver of clouds and everything around it seemed to just get darker.

I’m super tired from my weekend long trip so I’m off to bed but wanted to make sure you all had a Photo to see!

Hope you enjoy!
