DC Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Street Festival 2012 – 100 Year Anniversary

Hi Everyone!

I went to the DC Sakura Matsuri Cherry Blossom Street Festival on Saturday! I wasn’t expecting to see so many cosplayers there but I was really happy to see it! I posted the images in an album on my Facebook Page if you would like to look at them: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.348305491883896.75484.147734928607621&type=1

Have a great day!

Hi Everyone!

I took this photo last year and for the life of me, I can’t remember exactly where I took it. It was in DC while I was giving my friends a tour so I am assuming its close to the Lincoln Memorial.

I love black and white photography because it gives a photo so much more depth than a color one, in my opinion. Our minds are always so busy that when we have to process all those colors, we lose a lot of detail in the photo. Looking at the same photo in black and white you notice so much more that is going on in the image.

I hope you enjoy and I recommend looking at a very busy photo in color then turn it black and white. You’ll be surprised at how different the image really is.

Have a great day!

Crimson Sunset

This image was taken at the National Harbor in the DC area! It’s one of my favorite images I have taken of a sunset. If you love taking sunset photos , and live in the DC/VA area, I totally recommend spending your time at the National Harbor in the Spring. I believe that it is the best time to get a great shot!

Chinatown, DC

Hi Everyone!!!

OMG…I know…it’s been way too long since the last time that I posted anything up. I have been so busy with work and life that I really haven’t had to time take some pics. I am super excited for the Fall weather now. I love it when the leaves change colors and the cool wind. The colors are amazing to take pics of. So, you’ll see me post up way more pics in the coming weeks.

Last weekend I went to DC with a friend and got to see Chinatown. I’ve lived in the DC area my whole life but I usually just drive right through Chinatown. I took a few pics, but mostly with my friend.

I hope that you like this image! =) I also noticed that I am getting a lot more comments on this blog. I really appreciate all the love and support.
