2012 Christmas Photography Contest!

Hey Everyone!

Today, I am officially announcing my Third Annual Christmas Photography Contest! I started this contest 3 years ago to get to know more people and had no idea that this contest would become so popular! This year, I am going to do something a little different. I decided to add a category for all of my cosplay friends!

There will be 2 categories that you can submit to. The 2 categories are: Christmas Themed and Christmas Cosplay!

Category: Christmas Themed
– Christmas Themed pertains to any photo of Christmas Trees, decorations, food (cookies and such), snow, lights, etc.
– You can only submit a photo that belongs to you.
– Nothing inappropriate such as nudity.

Category: Christmas Cosplay
– For the first time, I am allowing people to submit photos of their Christmas Themed Cosplay. This also means any cosplay that you have worn (that isn’t Christmas themed) but had a Christmas photo shoot.
– If you are going to be submitting a photo of yourself that a photographer took of you, you must get the permission of the photographer before submitting. Also, please send the name of the photographer with your submission.
– Nothing inappropriate such as nudity.

Submission Rules:
– When submitting your photo, please include your NAME, EMAIL, and PHOTO TITLE.
– You can only submit ONE photo to ONE category.

Prize:
– $25 iTunes gift card

Contest Timeline:
– December 3, 2012 – December 15, 2012

400 Posts of Pure Love

This is my 400th Post of my Blog!

I don’t want just any random thing posted for this milestone other than a big Thank You.

When I first started this blog in 2009, I never would have imagined that I would be going strong 3 years later. Without all your love and support, I would not have continued with this Blog.

My dreams and hopes is that my Photography touches the hearts of everyone who sees it and that I can can bring a little joy into everyone’s lives. I hope I have succeeded.

You all have a wonderful day and I look forward to more great milestones with you all!

Loki – Both Sides (T-Shirt Design)

OK, so I was at work and got INSPIRED! I started to draw this idea out for a T-Shirt Design! I used Inkscape because I’m too poor to buy my favorite program, Illustrator.

It was all drawn piece by piece in vector. I am still working on drawing on a computer without a tablet so I know it’s not too good. A lot better people out there but I had fun doing this!

I used some photographs and posters from the “Avengers” movie for Loki’s helmet.

The scarf was the hardest part. I looked at the photo of Mr. Hiddleston in a suit as Loki and didn’t realize how much designing really went into that scarf. So, I drew hundreds of tiny golden circles to get the same effect. It’s close enough. 😉

Animazement 2012 – Sunday

Hi,

I did not take a lot of photos on Sunday. I was more concerned with getting to the Artist Alley for the cut prices. So this album is short (link below).

I will be posting up some details on my Commander Shepard Cosplay later tonight so everyone knows what is going on! If you have any questions, just let me know!
