2012 Christmas Photography Contest!

Hey Everyone!

Today, I am officially announcing my Third Annual Christmas Photography Contest! I started this contest 3 years ago to get to know more people and had no idea that this contest would become so popular! This year, I am going to do something a little different. I decided to add a category for all of my cosplay friends!

There will be 2 categories that you can submit to. The 2 categories are: Christmas Themed and Christmas Cosplay!

Category: Christmas Themed
– Christmas Themed pertains to any photo of Christmas Trees, decorations, food (cookies and such), snow, lights, etc.
– You can only submit a photo that belongs to you.
– Nothing inappropriate such as nudity.

Category: Christmas Cosplay
– For the first time, I am allowing people to submit photos of their Christmas Themed Cosplay. This also means any cosplay that you have worn (that isn’t Christmas themed) but had a Christmas photo shoot.
– If you are going to be submitting a photo of yourself that a photographer took of you, you must get the permission of the photographer before submitting. Also, please send the name of the photographer with your submission.
– Nothing inappropriate such as nudity.

Submission Rules:
– When submitting your photo, please include your NAME, EMAIL, and PHOTO TITLE.
– You can only submit ONE photo to ONE category.

Prize:
– $25 iTunes gift card

Contest Timeline:
– December 3, 2012 – December 15, 2012

Katsucon 2012 – Anime USA Booth Information

Hi!

When you go to Katsucon this year, Check out the Anime USA booth!

Anime USA will have a con table at Artist Alley Location H8. Their maids and hosts will be there along with a chance to register.

In case you don’t know, Anime USA is a fandom convention for anime, manga and Japanese culture enthusiasts. The event is organized by Anime USA, a non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Virginia, and operated and staffed entirely by unpaid volunteers many from local anime clubs, such as the Northern Virginia Anime Association.

Anime USA’s official tagline is “Of Otaku, By Otaku, For Otaku.”

The convention features Japanese creators of anime and manga, cosplay, voice actors from anime and videogames, artists, vendors and exhibits, panels, workshops, and gaming. Anime USA’s events focus on aspects of anime, manga, video games and Japanese culture.
