I recieved an email from Steven Hey regarding The National Three Peak Challenge Charity. They are in need of sponsors. I have already donated 70 pounds to the cause. If you can find it in your heart to donate something for this cause, the people at Sue Ryder Care will greatly appreciate it!
Steven Hey‘s Message:
We’re not long away from the 3 peaks challenge, and preparations are going well – honest. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. The good news is that we now have a driver – Stax has very kindly offered his services for the trip, so there’ll be no falling asleep at the wheel, which is probably a good thing. The less-good (or ‘bad’ as it’s otherwise known) is that we’re not yet half way to our sponsorship target. Boooooo, i hear you all say. Indeed, boooo. There are lots of people who have joined the group, which is cool, but not many of you have actually clicked through and sponsored us yet, which is the reason for the group in the first place. We’re still way off our target so, if you have a spare £2 (or more if you’re feeling generous), please click the link and sponsor us. It really is dead simple and we’d much prefer you did it online rather than giving us cash or an ‘I.O.U’, beacuse it goes straight to the charity and the government give us some extra on top (nice of them, yes).

Thank you for the support.

I'm curious, how high are these "peaks" these fellows are climbing? What kind of weather conditions will they have to endure? Do they have guides or are they attempting this on their own? Wish you'd give more info.
I just posted a more in-depth explanation of The National Three Peak Challenge Charity. Please let me know if this helps at all!
