Ok – now I finally got the belt done.
Here are the drawings:

Glued on the back:
Glued on the Front:
I lined up the sides to make sure the belt lines up reasonably well. I think it looks good.
Now that is over. I glued on the shoulder straps. I put a shoe box in-between so I wouldn’t have to hold it while it glued.
This is how it looks now:
Once the straps dry, I’ll be placing the torso on my sewing form.

I’ve decided that the weapon I will be creating with my N7 Armor will be the M-3 Predator which was in ME2 and ME3. It is the gun from the main cover of ME3.
I think that is reasonable size for me to make and carry around at cons. I may create the larger assault rifle but at this point in the game, this will do.
I've put together some great reference material for all of you and it definitely helping me.
I found this group of images on google and love this person’s work. Great angles of the gun too.
If you know the person who made this, let me know so I can give credit where credit is due.

I have updated my Supply list for the N7 Armor that I will be making. The link below will give you all the details.
I have recently purchased the Wilton Kids Puzzle Mat Set 24″ x 24″ Gray EVA Foam. I was originally going to go with the Black one but I think that if I use Gray, I will be able to spray paint any color I want easier later on. That is, if I want to paint it. If I don’t, I like the Gray a lot. You may use any other color that you see fit!!! It’s all about personal preferences.
There are TONS of EVA Foam types but I chose this particular one because of the 1/2″ thickness and raised cross hatch pattern. The Cross hatch pattern looks more consistent with the actual armor in my opinion.
