Katsucon 2013
First – I want to apologies for the lack of updates. I have been working on so many different projects in my life that I’m slightly overwhelmed.
So – Life Update.

I will be attending Katsucon this year. I have been working on all my cosplays and am just about finished.
As you can see from the top, that is my Cosplay lineup. I will be Cosplaying:
-Commander Shepard – N7 Armor from Mass Effect 3 (made my WM Armory)
-Female Assassin (Personal Design – Victorian Era) – Based off the games Assassins Creed
-Nurse – Based off the Silent Hill 1
-Rave Gear
I am very excited for this con and to work with the multiple photographers I have scheduled.

2012 Christmas Photography Contest!
Hey Everyone!
Today, I am officially announcing my Third Annual Christmas Photography Contest! I started this contest 3 years ago to get to know more people and had no idea that this contest would become so popular! This year, I am going to do something a little different. I decided to add a category for all of my cosplay friends!
There will be 2 categories that you can submit to. The 2 categories are: Christmas Themed and Christmas Cosplay!
Category: Christmas Themed
- Christmas Themed pertains to any photo of Christmas Trees, decorations, food (cookies and such), snow, lights, etc.
- You can only submit a photo that belongs to you.
- Nothing inappropriate such as nudity.
Category: Christmas Cosplay
- For the first time, I am allowing people to submit photos of their Christmas Themed Cosplay. This also means any cosplay that you have worn (that isn’t Christmas themed) but had a Christmas photo shoot.
- If you are going to be submitting a photo of yourself that a photographer took of you, you must get the permission of the photographer before submitting. Also, please send the name of the photographer with your submission.
- Nothing inappropriate such as nudity.
Submission Rules:
- When submitting your photo, please include your NAME, EMAIL, and PHOTO TITLE.
- You can only submit ONE photo to ONE category.
Prize:
- $25 iTunes gift card

Assassins Creed – Gauntlets
I got my Assassins Creed Gauntlets from GameStop finally. They’ve been on Backorder for so LONG!
Left – Blades in place

…The blades are connected to a spring so they fly out after you hit that button at the bottom. The blades are made out of rubber so they are con approved.
I’m going to be wearing these for my AC cosplay for Katsucon 2013!
I love them so much!
Next Cosplay Adventure – Esther from Trinity Blood
I have scoured the Internet for a new cosplay to work on and I think I found it. I loved working on my armor but I miss sewing and need to start up again before I go crazy.
I have decided that I will be cosplaying Esther from the anime Trinity Blood. This eleborate Elizabethian dress is so awesome. I really want to give it a try. I noticed that not a lot of cosplayers have attempted this so it’s going to be unique.
Right now, I am working out the quote and the best way to approach something of this magnitude. The largest and most eleborate cosplay I have done is my Princess Serenity cosplay.
Now, of course, I won’t be able to get as detailed as this image of Esther. I don’t think I’m at that point yet but I am sure going to try. As long as people know what it is when I walk in the room, I will be happy.
This little adventure is going to be for Katucon. I have no other projects on my plate other than my Silent Hill Nurse cosplay, which only requires me to destroy a gown, so all my time will be devoted to this.
I still want to upgrade my N7 armor but I’m going to work on that another time. For Katsucon, I may adjust the legs but that would be it. Now, if I somehow pull off Esther quickly, then I’ll start working on the armor again.

The Legend of Zelda
Hi Everyone!
“The Legend of Zelda” is my favorite Nintendo franchise game series of all time. It was the first game I owned on the Nintendo! When “The Ocarina of Time” came out on the Nintendo 64, it consumed my life for hours and really for years. I still play my Nintendo 64 just because of that game.
These cosplayers were dressed as Link, the hero of the story, and the girl in the middle was dressed as the faithful, yet seriously annoying, fairy, Navi! (Who I seriously adore and am still pissed that “Majora’s Mask” blew it with dropping the Navi story – even though that was why the game was made, right?)
What made these cosplayers Rock was the fact that they really got into their characters.

Princess Tutu
Hi Everyone!!!
Princess Tutu follows Ahiru, a duck who was transformed into a young girl, and takes ballet at a private school.
The story is very complex for a “Magical Girl” based anime and I don’t want to ruin the plot for anyone so I will leave it at that.
These cosplayers were amazing at Katsucon. They actually knew ballet which made them so much more believable as ballerinas.

Final Fantasy IX
Hi Everyone!
These amazing cosplayers are based on the video game Final Fantasy IX.
Final Fantasy IX’s plot centers on a war between many nations. Zidane Tribal, a thief, joins with a group of amazing people to defeat Queen Brahne of Alexandria, the one responsible for beginning the war. The plot shifts, however, when the characters realize that Brahne is working with an even more threatening person called Kuja.
Kuja is the man standing in the back. He is one evil dude.
